WELCOME TO JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA - THE RIVER CITY

Jacksonville is in the “First Coast” region of northeast Florida, the largest city in Florid and a rapidly growing metropolitan city. It is located along the Atlantic Ocean coastline and centered on the banks of the St. Johns River, offering spectacular views from both areas. The River City is about 25 miles south of the Georgia state line and around 340 miles north of Miami in South Florida. The mild temperature, realistic cost of living and high quality of life are only a few reasons why Jacksonville is the place to live. A key part of Jacksonville’s quality of life is the parks and preservation lands. They have one of the largest park systems in the country. The local economy is primarily centered on services such as banking, insurance, healthcare and logistics. Tourism, including golf, also plays a substantial role in Jacksonville’s economy. Jacksonville is recognized as a leading distribution center and a national leader in managing expansion.
JACKSONVILLE CONTINUES TO RANK AMONG THE BEST

Forbes Magazine recently listed the city on it's Top Ten In The Nation List for; "Top Cities To Find A Job" (#3) and "Technology Services Jobs Growth" (#2). Significant factors in the local economy include services such as banking, insurance, healthcare and logistics. As with much of Florida, tourism is also important to the Jacksonville area, particularly tourism related to golf.
